Abuse by anyone, especially instructors, should never be tolerated.
This is an Aikido Dojo, absolutely no fighting arts allowed.
No running, pushing, or rough play at any time!
Cooperation is required for all Aikido. No testing, resisting, or competing!
All Aikido training must be supervised by a Certified instructor!
All students have the right, and responsibility to decline partnering with anyone who exceeds their safety level!
It is the responsibility of the Nage (thrower) to
lead Uke (receiver) in a way that is safe,
and congruent with their level of skill.
It is the responsibility of every student to learn
good Ukemi
(rolling and receiving a throw or take down).
Use of Aiki-Ken (wooden sword) or Aiki-Jo (wooden
staff) is permitted only with
appproval of your Sensei!
Keiko (high intesity) training is only initiated under the direction and supervision of your Sensei!
When in doubt as to the safety of any activity, ask your instructor!
Keep your finger and toe nails short, and body free of jewelry.
Good personal hygiene is a sign of self-respect,
as well as respect of others,
and should be observed.
All injuries and/or illnesses that affect your
safe and enthusiastic participation must be immediately
communicated to your Sensei and training partners!
There are three characteristics for all AIKIDO techniques.
Non-Resistance (Right Motivation)
Non-Violence (Right Intention)
Non-Injury (Right Results)
